The award is presented by the Michigan Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (MISHRM), an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Now in its second year, the prestigious award recognizes outstanding achievement in the HR field and is presented to the HR professionals who best exemplify the highest standards of the profession. This year’s winners were announced on October 16, 2015 at the closing luncheon of the MISHRM Conference at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Kellogg is an experienced human resource management professional with extensive background in the field. She is a certified Professional in Human Resources, a member of SHRM and currently serves on the board and is a past president of Detroit SHRM. Kellogg also held positions on Detroit SHRM including vice president Member Services and served on the Audit/Finance Committee. Kellogg’s capabilities and skills in the HR field are well recognized; she has been a speaker at industry conferences, including the FMLA Keynote Speaker at the Conference for the Michigan Housekeeping Counsel and guest speaker for Oakland University’s SHRM chapter. She was also elected to the Governance Counsel for former Michigan Governor John Engler’s School to Work Program. Furthermore, Kellogg was the Vice President and Membership Committee Chair for the San Diego chapter of ZONTA International, a non-profit organization committed to advancing the status of women worldwide.
